Press Reports
The following selection of articles about the Gonzalez Regimen
are arranged chronologically. You may also view articles organized
by topic: articles about patients with
illnesses other than pancreatic cancer, or articles about the
program in general.
- The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet: Dr.
Gonzalez has appeared several times on this popular Fox network
national television show, to discuss his treatment and issues
related to alternative medicine in general. During a visit on
March 11, 2008, Dr. Gonzalez appeared in two segments, first
with two of his patients, both seven year survivors of pancreatic
adenocarcinoma. Our patients, who beat the worst of odds, were
the stars of the show. In a second
segment, Dr. Gonzalez discussed his treatment with a pancreatic
surgeon from Mt. Sinai Medical School. On April 10, 2008, he appeared
again, and spoke
about foods that can alleviate or worsen pain.
- Prevention Magazine Website Discussion Forum:
In September 2007, Dr. Gonzalez co-hosted an online discussion
forum on Prevention Magazine's website. Dr. Gonzalez contributed
numerous lengthy answers to questions on a wide range of topics
from readers of the site.
- Prevention Magazine: The September 2007 issue
featured an article about four women who had chosen alternative
methods for treatment of their medical problems. One of these
women, diagnosed with aggressive ovarian cancer, refused chemotherapy
to pursue our therapy 15 years ago. The article is available
on the Prevention website. Subsequently, the nationally syndicated
“The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” on the Fox
network devoted nearly an hour to the four women and their doctors,
including Dr. Gonzalez. The show can be viewed online.
- Alternative
Therapies in Health and Medicine: This peer-reviewed healthcare
journal is indexed in the National Library of Medicine. It serves
as a forum for research evidence and information concerning the
practical use of alternative therapies. The January/February 2007
issue featured a lengthy interview

by Drs. Gonzalez and Isaacs which includes several case reports
of successfully treated patients. The March/April 2007 issue included
an article
by Dr. Isaacs about evaluating anecdotal evidence and case reports.

The November/December 2006
and January/February 2007 issues
of this popular magazine include a two-part article by Dr. Gonzalez
discussing the physiology of the pancreas and the use of proteolytic
enzymes as a cancer treatment. The second part of the series also
describes in detail a series of patients diagnosed with pancreatic
cancer successfully treated with our nutritional regimen.
- Eating
in the Raw: Dr. Gonzalez wrote the foreword for this book
by well-known model Carol Alt, who reversed her deteriorating
health with a largely raw foods diet. Her own personal experiences
inspired her to write this book, meant as an introduction to whole
foods, raw food eating. In the book, Carol includes information
useful to those wishing to pursue a more natural, more wholesome
way of eating.
- The
Raw 50: Dr. Gonzalez also wrote the foreword for Carol Alt’s
second book, The Raw 50, in which she presents easy, everyday
raw food recipes along with new information about the practical
considerations of this healthy way of life.
- The Deborah Ray Show: In November 2004, Dr.
Gonzalez appeared on this radio show, a forum for innovative medicine.
A recording of the show is available
on this website.

tumor regression while on this regimen. The May 2001 issue included

of metastatic kidney cancer.
